After all the excitement of live blogging both the coronation and Eurovision, an exhausted quiz master lazily asked Google Bard to write the intro blurb to this week’s quiz. It said: “Welcome to the Guardian online Thursday quiz! This week’s quiz is a mix of general knowledge and topical trivia, with a few jokes thrown in for good measure.” So, basically, the quiz master could have just Googled what had previously been written.
